RTC Final LogoA dynamic and growing organization founded in 1993, the Regional Training Center’s purpose is to provide exciting and relevant graduate professional development opportunities to teachers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

RTC moves beyond traditional college lecture/discussion methods and infuse instruction with in-person opportunities for participants to experience an actively engaging program of teacher education. They offer graduate courses for teachers at convenient off-campus locations, with teacher-friendly schedules, and professional development in-service workshops for school districts on topics relating to instructional improvement.

Course instructors for RTC are specially selected as exemplary K-12 teachers that are the best teachers of teachers available, who meet all qualifications to teach at the graduate level. Our instructors work in school districts across the Mid-Atlantic Region

The Gratz College’s Master of Arts in Education Program offers a concentration in instruction and is designed to provide teachers with knowledge and practical skills that they can actually utilize in the classroom. The goal is to enhance classroom instruction and to empower teachers to reach their full potential as educators. Coursework for this 33 credit Master of Arts in Education Program is offered on-campus and at many off-campus sites in Pennsylvania. Three credits (1 course) must be taken on-campus in Melrose Park.
